Co-Founder and Executive Director
Christy Hyun
Christy Hyun is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) with over two decades of outpatient therapy experience. She holds an undergraduate degree from Boston University and completed her graduate training at Fuller Theological Seminary and Western Seminary. Christy specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families across all age groups. She holds certifications in SYMBIS, PREPARE/ENRICH, and Brainspotting. Since 2018, she has shared her expertise as an adjunct faculty member at Western Seminary, teaching courses in Child and Adolescent Therapy and Practicum. Alongside her husband of over 25 years, Rev. Yung Kim, Christy has helped plant three churches with a passion for healing through the power of the Gospel. Together they have served on mental health boards. In 2025, they founded a Gospel-centered counseling non-profit, Beloved Wellness Center.

Co-Founder
Yung Kim
Yung Kim is a founding pastor of REVIVE Presbyterian Church of Silicon Valley, where he serves as Pastor of Adult Ministries. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA and a Master of Divinity, with a concentration in Intercultural Studies, from Fuller Theological Seminary. With a deep commitment to Gospel ministry, Yung has served in pastoral ministry since 1995, including planting multiple churches in various intercultural contexts and serving with the global missions organization Partners International. In 2025, Yung and his wife, Christy, co-founded Beloved Wellness Center, a counseling ministry that partners with churches to provide gospel-centered care. Together, they have experienced the joys and challenges of raising four children as disciples of Christ. Yung is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Golden State Warriors fan, and in his free time he enjoys board games, eating good food with good friends, playing team sports, and inviting others to meet and spend time with Jesus.

Associate Therapist
Selah Lee
Selah holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from Western Seminary and practices as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). She aims to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients are equipped to grow. Her background in both theology and clinical training informs an integrated approach to care that attends to the whole person. Her clinical experience includes providing therapy to clients across the lifespan in community-based and school settings, working with concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, family conflict, trauma, and some substance-related issues.

Selah is supervised by Christy Hyun, LMFT and the Founder and Director of Beloved Wellness Center which focuses on Christ-centered counseling, education, and services for the Christian faith community.

Associate Therapist
Sarah Jang
Sarah is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) with experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in outpatient and school-based settings. She received her M.A. in Counseling from Western Seminary where she was trained in clinical skills and theology. She utilizes an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy to best fit client needs. Sarah strives to provide a safe and warm space to meet clients where they are at.
Sarah is supervised by Christy Hyun, LMFT and the Founder and Director of Beloved Wellness Center which focuses on Christ-centered counseling, education, and services for the Christian faith community.

Associate Therapist
Matthew Murata
I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). I earned my B.A. in Sociology from Willamette University and my M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Western Seminary, where I trained in counseling and theology.
I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship/communication challenges, including ASD, ADHD, and learning differences. I’m trained in Brainspotting (Phase 1 & 2) and take a practical, trauma-informed, and empathetic approach, integrating clients’ faith and values when desired. We’ll work collaboratively to identify your goals and take meaningful steps toward healing, growth, and stronger connections.
